ITINERARY
Your day begins with a departure from Cusco on the gleaming Pullman carriages of the Belmond Hiram Bingham. On the outbound journey you can savour a delicious three-course brunch whilst admiring the spellbinding scenery as you journey towards Machu Picchu. The day includes a guided tour of the ancient citadel which delivers some breathtaking mountain top views - a photographer's paradise.
After your tour delight in an indulgent afternoon tea at the Belmond Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. There is time to wander through the beautiful gardens of this luxury hotel, ideally placed adjacent to the ruins. As the train pulls away from Machu Picchu you can mingle with fellow travellers in the observation car and enjoy the sounds of live Peruvian music. A mouth-watering four-course dinner will be served as you return to Cusco in comfort and watch the Peruvian countryside unfold with wonderful memories of a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
