Ffestiniog Travel was established in 1974 by a small team of people with a passion for railways and a desire to encourage rail travel and support heritage railways across the world.

We remain a small, independent company offering up to 40 high-quality escorted rail tours each year. We also create bespoke Tailored Rail tours for independent rail travellers and private groups and provide a comprehensive rail ticketing service.

Based in North Wales, Ffestiniog Travel is a sister company to the world famous Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway Company. The close relationship with these award-winning heritage railways complements and benefits our ‘Rail Holidays of the World’. In return our profits help support the preservation of the world’s oldest narrow gauge railways - so every holiday you book with us helps sustain their future.
