Mrs B. Walker from Surrey wanted to mix some continental festive shopping with sightseeing so decided to head to Germany and spend 2 nights in Nuremberg , where its grand Christmas market is highly regarded throughout Europe. It also offered an opportunity to visit nearby Rothenberg ob der Tauber, famous for its romantic festive market. A 2-night stay in beautiful Salzburg was followed by a return journey home via Munich to view the famous Rathaus-Glockenspiel.
