One of the most outstanding ski areas in Europe is Tyrol in Austria, but what is the best way of getting there and exploring the whole region to make the most of a winter trip? Sunday Times writer Robert Mellor, travelled to and around Tyrol by train and credited Ffestiniog Travel as the “go-to folks for hassle-free, one-stop train ticket booking”. So we have created a 9-day tour based on Robert’s ski route for those who would prefer to take the train to Tryrol’s pistes.
We recommend you book from mid-October for a March ski trip as these trains sell out fast.
